Since the controversies surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, which connected the Duke of York to the financier’s questionable gatherings, the British Royal Family‘s image has suffered greatly. In May 2020, Prince Andrew chose to step back from public duties indefinitely due to the fallout from this scandal.
Recently, the scandal involving Sean “Diddy” Combs has raised concerns about possible connections to UK royals. Although no conclusive proof has emerged yet, insights from journalist Rob Shuter, who previously worked with Combs, have sparked intrigue.
The Royals Avoided Trouble
Shuter revealed to ‘BBC News’ that he was asked to invite Prince William and Prince Harry to multiple parties hosted by Combs, mentioning he made “over 10 invitations.“
He emphasized that neither prince ever attended these events. “They never engaged in Diddy’s world,” Shuter stated during the interview.
Sean “Diddy” Combs was keen to associate with powerful figures, especially royals, viewing it as a personal aspiration. “Diddy had a fascination with Prince Harry and Prince William, envisioning himself as a king, so having them around made perfect sense to him,” Shuter noted.
Combs even had “framed images of the royals in his New York residence.”
Despite his various attempts to connect with them, Combs’ ambitions remained unfulfilled. “He even offered to pay for their travel, accommodations, and security,” Shuter added.
New revelations surrounding this scandal are emerging constantly, linking numerous high-profile individuals from entertainment and politics. The reach of this case, tied to Combs, appears to entrap far more notable figures than initially thought, suggesting many more discoveries lie ahead.
