Given Markle’s controversial public image, some suggested that Figueras might prefer to steer clear of unnecessary drama. After the earlier suggestion of snubbing, Figueras posted an Instagram Story highlighting Markle’s brand, American Riviera Orchard. He showcased their new strawberry jam and some dog treats. However, the timing of this post coincided with Kate Middleton’s notable appearance at Trooping the Colour, leading many to suspect it was a direct attempt to distract from Kate’s moment.
Critics quickly commented on the situation, suggesting that Markle might have orchestrated this moment to overshadow Kate. Some theorists went as far as claiming Figueras was complicit in Meghan’s supposed scheme. Nevertheless, Figueras has shown genuine enthusiasm for Markle’s products, previously sharing posts that praised her raspberry jam.
