Unraveling the Enigma: Beyoncé and Her 23 Million Euro Rolls-Royce

The mystery of Beyonce and the 23 million euro Rolls-Royce

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, the CEO of Rolls-Royce, highlighted in 2021 that the Boat Tail represents more than just a vehicle; it embodies the destination itself. This statement refers to the Boat Tail being the costliest new car ever sold, with a price tag of 23 million euros.

The Boat Tail is an exclusive vehicle with only three units created, each tailored to meet the desires of its affluent owners, who are among Rolls-Royce’s top clientele. Its design roots trace back to the Sweptail, a bespoke model inspired by architectural elements. This innovation prompted many wealthy individuals to approach Rolls-Royce for customized vehicles.

Inspired by the sea for three elite buyers

The renowned brand contemplated various options and chose to draw from maritime themes, securing agreements with three clients unconcerned by whatever the car might cost. Their intention was simply ownership.

While the identities of these owners remain private, rumors once circulated (though unverified) suggesting that Beyoncé and Jay Z might be the first owners. The British news outlet The Telegraph claimed that Jay Z’s signature was noted beside the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem, with Beyoncé’s found next to the rear mark. Moreover, their names were said to be inscribed on the engine, and the car’s blue hue was allegedly inspired by the colors of the Côte d’Azur in southern France, a favored vacation spot for the couple.

First appearance on the streets

However, these details were never substantiated by the brand, and images of the couple driving the car were scarce until recently. It’s now believed that a mobile phone video has captured the famous singer behind the wheel.

Reportedly, the car has been spotted in Dubai, where it bears a license plate. If it indeed belongs to Beyoncé, one reason she may not have been seen driving it could be that it is located far from her more frequent residences in Bel-Air, New York, and Malibu. Do they own property in Dubai? That’s yet to be determined.

Regardless, it’s plausible that the couple commissioned this vehicle, as they have previously been seen with other Rolls-Royce models. Their estimated wealth, around 1.8 billion euros, certainly allows for such extravagant purchases.
