Marza also had short stints working as a freelancer for different new channels, including News 12 and ABC News, where he hosted “What’s the Buzz,” a daily entertainment news program. As a freelancer, he also served as a substitute anchor, covering ABC’s overnight news broadcast “World News Now.” In 2015, the ace journalist returned to KSHB-TV, where he famously co-hosted with his wife, Rhiannon Ally, for several years. In 2019, however, after four years with the channel, Marzaa and Ally announced they were leaving. “Our journey here is coming to an end. It is bittersweet, for so many reasons, to say goodbye,” Ally wrote in a statement shared on Instagram. “We’ll certainly be back to visit and hope you’ll all follow our journey on social media.” A few days later, Marza announced on Facebook that they were moving to New York, where he would be working with the WABC-TV channel 7 team.
