Dr. Scagliotti praised Trong’s commitment to cultural development alongside socio-economic progress in building a united and supportive socialist society.
On the other hand, Hélène Luc, who met Party Secretary Trong in 2013, praised his emphasis on fostering interpersonal relationships. She shared her experience of being invited by Trong to engage in an exchange with the France-Vietnam Friendship Association during his 2018 visit to France. Luc commended Trong’s leadership and influence on Vietnam’s history, noting his efforts in promoting international cooperation and economic growth through foreign investments. She acknowledged Trong’s dedication to upholding Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic principles and enhancing Vietnam’s relations with various nations, particularly with France.
Both Dr. Scagliotti and Hélène Luc agree that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be remembered as a remarkable leader in Vietnam’s history, serving as an inspiration for future generations.
