A wave of excitement greeted the 19-year-old streamer, IShowSpeed, upon his arrival at Ben Thanh Market, with fans quickly spotting him. Security had to step in, momentarily shutting the market doors to control the crowd.

IShowSpeed, well-known for his lively streaming style, took the opportunity to explore various attractions in the city, including Nguyen Hue walking street, the Museum of Jewelry of 54 Ethnic Groups, and Landmark 81. At every location, enthusiastic fans gathered to snap photos, present him with traditional Vietnamese gifts like the conical hat, and express their admiration.

One of the standout moments of his visit was when he stopped at a popular banh mi shop in District 1. There, he learned to prepare and taste one of the city’s most expensive sandwiches, costing 68,000 VND (around $2.80).

This banh mi, filled with a mix of cold cuts, pâté, sausage, and pickled vegetables, thrilled the YouTuber, who couldn’t contain his excitement as he shared the experience live with his 27 million followers.

IShowSpeed’s trip to Vietnam was mainly for a luxury car event in Ho Chi Minh City on September 15, but he also took the chance to immerse himself in the local culture by riding a motorbike through the vibrant streets of the city.
