Miss National Vietnam 2024 Highlights

Kieu Duy quickly distinguished herself as a frontrunner in the competition, impressing judges and audiences alike with her performance.

Along with the title of Miss National Vietnam, she was also honored as “Miss Mekong Delta.”

With her victory, Kieu Duy will represent Vietnam at Miss International 2025.

Do Thi Phuong Thanh from Thai Binh earned the title of first runner-up, while Nguyen Thi Cam Ly from Dak Lak secured the second runner-up position.

Question and Answer Round

During the Q&A segment for the top two contestants, they were posed the question: “What would you bring to the Miss International 2025 competition if you win the title?”

Phuong Thanh shared her passion for promoting Vietnam’s tourism, eager to highlight the beauty and stories of her hometown, Thai Binh, to an international audience.

Kieu Duy communicated her thoughts eloquently in both English and Vietnamese, emphasizing the need for young people to engage with global challenges like education and the environment.

“I aspire to present the lively spirit of Vietnam to the world. As a beauty queen, I aim to motivate youth towards improving our nation,” she expressed.

The top three finalists, Kieu Duy, Phuong Thanh, and Cam Ly, were also asked to justify why they were deserving of the crown.

Kieu Duy highlighted her journey as an embodiment of intelligence, elegance, and community service, affirming her readiness to represent Vietnam globally.

Phuong Thanh discussed her commitment to the pageant and her intention to apply her intellect for worthwhile contributions.

Cam Ly reflected on the core values of compassion and capability she and her fellow contestants embraced, signaling her wish to positively impact the community and the nation.

Spotlight on Finalists

The event also featured 15 finalists presenting their individual views on “Vietnam in My Heart,” celebrating the nation’s culture, history, and future aspirations.

A notable response came from Quan Tran Gia Han from Dong Nai, who depicted Vietnam as enjoying a “golden era of progress,” emphasizing the significance of talent, intellect, and moral values for national growth.

The competition kicked off with a vibrant opening featuring 59 contestants performing Ken Ca Chon Canh, led by singer Hoa Minzy.

Various special awards were presented to exemplary participants in different categories:

Miss Talent: Nguyen Phuong Hoa (Hai Duong)
Miss Media: Nguyen Thi Thao Trang (Dien Bien)

The inaugural edition of Miss National Vietnam 2024 was judged by a distinguished panel, including People’s Artist Vuong Duy Bien, Miss Vietnam Ha Kieu Anh, and several international titleholders such as Miss Thuy Tien and Miss Bao Ngoc.
