President oversees arrangements for Funeral of Party Chief Nguyen Phu Trong

President To Lam inspected the preparations for the funeral services and paid respects at the National Monument.

The burial site for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is positioned next to the National Monument alongside previous General Secretaries Le Duan and Le Kha Phieu.

On July 24, President To Lam checked the readiness at Mai Dich Cemetery.

The President and the delegation offered incense at the Monument to National Heroes and Martyrs.

Accompanying President To Lam were several officials including Chief of the Office of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc and Deputy Minister of National Defense Le Huy Vinh.

President To Lam and the delegation assessed the essential arrangements for the funeral, memorial services, and burial scheduled for July 25 and 26.

The Funeral Committee, chaired by President To Lam, includes top officials like Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

The Funeral Organization Committee, led by Luong Cuong, consists of members like Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai and Central Party Office Chief Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
