I was in a terrible relationship for many years. Years of feeling not good enough, made to feel useless, and being cheated on. One day he left me for a girl he had been seeing behind my back. I was not heartbroken but annoyed with myself for allowing this to happen. I believed I wasn’t good enough. Then I found the law of attraction. I read The Secret books, watched The Secret movie, and implemented them into my life. Every night I would visualize what I wanted my life to be. I wrote down everything that I wanted in the present tense. I wrote about my partner, boyfriend, fiancé, and husband. I wrote out his personality, our relationship, just everything!!
I waited and waited, and I got a little impatient at times. But mostly I prayed and I fully believed that God would send me this man because I knew that was what was meant to be! I turned down many dates with guys because it didn’t feel right or I just wasn’t interested in them.
One day at the last minute, I was invited to the party of a childhood friend, it was a few days away and I happened to be off from work! It was at this party that I saw him. I wanted to speak to him, and introduce myself! I didn’t in the end but when I saw him I knew! In my mind I said, there is my husband! I didn’t know this person. I didn’t speak to him or interact with him at all but I still felt comfortable that it would be him.
About 7 or 8 months later, my friends convinced me to try a dating app. So I did, and who was the second person that appeared? Yep, you guessed it! The guy from the party! I shouted at my friend in disbelief showing her the photo! I obviously gave him a like and waited to see if he would do the same in return. It was later that night that I went on for a look, not expecting anything as it was around midnight and I had only swiped it in the late afternoon. I didn’t think he would have been on again or matched with me so soon. But there he was in my matches! And well, the rest is history.
We began chatting and then met up just over a week later for our first date. We instantly knew we had met our life partners. Five months later we got engaged and now we are planning our wedding and looking for a house! We are best friends and our relationship is like nothing I could have ever imagined. He is exactly what I wrote down, kind, funny, caring. He has a good job, he is sporty, and a Christian. I get along so well with his family and he gets along so well with mine. He was everything I wrote down and more! But it was only when I was not looking for him that I found him. And in a way I never expected! I always visualized the end result. I thought about ways it might happen but I never got too hung up on them.
What is important is where you end up! I am so happy and can’t express how much the law of attraction really does work! For years I had wanted to pursue photography, and he encouraged me and helped in every way he could to ensure that I reached that dream! I am now using the law of attraction to be a photographer! I am taking the action I feel compelled to, I am taking an online course on how to properly use my camera. I am now visualizing having my own studio and working as a photographer. I love to include my fiancé in it and picture seeing him for tea at night to tell him about the wonderful children and families I took photos of that day! I know I will be a photographer and will work at a job I love. I am just waiting for it to be delivered when the time is right!!
