Global political leaders extend greetings on CPV’s 95th anniversary

Celebrating 95 Years of the Communist Party of Vietnam

As Vietnam marks its 95th anniversary of the Communist Party, which was established on February 3, 1930, leaders from various political factions have conveyed their congratulations to the Central Committee and General Secretary To Lam.

The Lao People’s Revolutionary Party commended the Communist Party of Vietnam for its pivotal role in guiding the national revolution with wise policies since its inception by President Ho Chi Minh. This leadership was instrumental in Vietnam’s success against colonial powers, leading to the country’s reunification in 1975.

Over nearly four decades since the Doi Moi (Renewal) reforms began, Vietnam has made significant advancements under the party’s guidance, ensuring political stability, enhancing national security, and fostering rapid economic growth. Importantly, Vietnam has gained a more pronounced influence on both regional and global stages.

The Lao People’s Revolutionary Party expressed confidence that adhering to its revolutionary legacy will enable Vietnam to achieve even greater successes, especially in relation to the resolutions adopted at the 13th Party Congress and the plans for the upcoming 14th Congress.

The Communist Party of China also acknowledged the achievements of the Vietnamese Party over the past 95 years. They noted the Party’s ability to unite the populace in achieving both liberation and significant progress in socialist development.

Since the last Congress, there’s been an emphasis on reinforcing internal cohesion, which has led to political stability and economic growth, enhancing Vietnam’s stature internationally.

Guided by General Secretary To Lam, Vietnam is committed to advancing the objectives laid out by the 13th Party Congress while preparing for vital centennial milestones.

The enduring partnership between the Communist Parties of China and Vietnam has historical roots, shaped by revolutionary leaders from both nations. Both parties have consistently supported one another through shared endeavors and goals, and they are committed to strengthening this alliance further.

Through established frameworks, the two parties plan to increase high-level communications, deepen strategic discussions, and enhance theoretical cooperation, fostering stronger ties that will benefit both nations and contribute to global peace.

Cambodian People’s Party Chairman Hun Sen also reached out to congratulate General Secretary To Lam, expressing admiration for Vietnam’s growth and prosperity under the Party’s leadership. He reaffirmed the strong bilateral relationship based on mutual respect and comprehensive cooperation.

Under General Secretary To Lam’s leadership, the Communist Party of Vietnam is anticipated to achieve more milestones as they implement resolutions and prepare for the upcoming National Congress.

Cuban leaders, including President Miguel Díaz-Canel and General Raul Castro, praised Vietnam’s revolutionary achievements in their message. They cited the Doi Moi reforms as a model within the international communist framework and expressed commitment to strengthening ties between the two nations.

North Korean Workers’ Party General Secretary Kim Jong Un also extended warm congratulations on this important anniversary, recognizing Vietnam’s accomplishments in independence and socialist development. He expressed confidence in the enduring friendship between their parties as they collectively promote socialism.
