One individual shared a story about how a father, characterized as a ‘deadbeat’, almost sabotaged his daughter’s wedding. The father expressed dissatisfaction with the dowry he received from the groom.
The daughter was deeply distraught by her father’s behavior, leading to tears while preparing for her wedding.
“My cousin had a deadbeat father. On her engagement day, she reluctantly permitted him to receive her dowry. This man nearly ruined the wedding by claiming the dowry given by the groom was insufficient. My cousin was in distress and tears as she got ready for her special day. Personally, I held disdain for the man, and his actions that day only intensified my feelings,” she recounted.
