Actor Damola Olatunji Shares Surprising Revelation About His Ex-Fiancee

Damola Olatunji, a well-known face in Nollywood, revealed a shocking incident where his ex-fiancee became pregnant by another man shortly before their introduction.

Discussing his split with Bukola Arugba, the mother of his twins, during the interview with actress Biola Bayo, Olatunji touched on the controversies surrounding the breakup.

Addressing speculations about his departure from the marriage and his alleged abandonment of the household, Damola emphasized the importance of parting ways amicably rather than resorting to conflict.

“Just before our engagement, my then-fiancee became pregnant by someone else,” Olatunji disclosed.

“This is the first time I have openly discussed my divorce. There were claims that I walked out on my marriage and left the family home. I would always respond by saying, those are my children. Emotions can diminish, and love can wane. If things aren’t working out, it’s preferable to separate peacefully rather than escalate to aggression.

“Couples who share children should refrain from engaging in public mudslinging as their offspring may one day come across those hurtful statements.

“I am not an absentee father. Despite our estrangement, I continue to provide for my children. My kids can attest, ‘Our dad is the greatest in the world’.”

Bukola Awoyemi, also known as Arugba, had announced her separation from Damola Olatunji in 2023.
