The novel, published by Orbit in June 2019, follows Teagan Frost, a woman having a had time keeping it together as she struggles with her telekinetic powers, which the government is capitalizing on by sending her on break-in missions no ordinary person could do. While she wants to just kick back and pretend she’s normal for once, a body turns up at the site of her last job, murdered in a way only Teagan could do, and has only 24 hours to clear her name. If she can’t unravel the conspiracy in time, her home town of Los Angeles will be in the crosshairs of an underground battle that’s on the brink of exploding.
