Chief Bode George, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has revealed when he will leave the country in light of Bola Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election. The PDP chieftain stated that he will wait for the presidential election petition tribunal to make a ruling on the election outcome before deciding to depart.
On Tuesday, Bode was asked about his plans to relocate to Togo if Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the election, during an interview on Arise Television’s Morning Show program. He responded by saying that he is almost eighty years old and wants to live out the rest of his life in peace. He also mentioned that he has been in the navy and has been around the world, so he can choose to go back to any place and live his life in peace. He concluded by saying that he will wait on the judiciary to make a decision on the election outcome before deciding when to leave the country.
