The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recently detained a 22-year-old from the UK, named Campell Kaizra Kofi Johannes Slifer.
He was apprehended at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, on Friday.

In the latest report, Slifer revealed that he has a criminal history in the UK with two prior convictions related to drug offenses and robbery.
He stated he was lured from London to Thailand to collect the illegal shipment destined for Nigeria.
The statement noted: “On Friday, May 9th, NDLEA officials at Murtala Mohammed International Airport intercepted Campell Kaizra Kofi Johannes Slifer, a 22-year-old British citizen traveling from Thailand via Doha on a Qatar Airways flight, with two suitcases containing 35 parcels of Loud, a potent type of cannabis, weighing a total of 37.60 kg.”
“Campell, who has been convicted twice in the UK for drug trafficking and robbery, explained that he was recruited in London for this task.”
