Separation Announcement of Apostle Solomon Oduro and Rev. Charlotte Oduro
Apostle Solomon Oduro, a prominent Ghanaian pastor and head of Solomon Oduro Ministries, has shared the news of his separation from well-known marriage advisor Rev. Charlotte Oduro.
In 2022, Rev. Oduro suggested that women should respond with kindness instead of anger when their husbands return home after an affair. She advised that rather than criticizing, wives should provide comfort and understanding during such situations.
During a conversation on Okay FM with host Abieku Santana, she emphasized the importance of empathy and recognizing that everyone makes mistakes:
“When your husband comes back after cheating, allow him to settle in, and show him love and care. While infidelity is wrong, we all can err, so we should approach situations with compassion ands understanding,” she expressed.
On February 10, 2025, Apostle Oduro released a statement explaining that after extensive prayer and discussion, they decided to end their marriage due to overwhelming differences.
“This decision comes after deep reflection and was not made lightly,” the statement read.
The couple had reportedly been living separately for three years, with their traditional divorce occurring the previous year. Apostle Oduro clarified that as a public figure and spiritual leader, he felt it necessary to address the news to avoid rumors and confusion.
“I kindly ask for understanding during this emotional time,” he added.
Apostle Oduro encouraged friends and members of the community to keep both him and Rev. Charlotte in their prayers as they move forward. He reiterated his commitment to his spiritual mission of spreading the Gospel and expressed gratitude for the support he’s received from others throughout his journey of faith.
“May peace settle in every heart during this period of change,” he concluded the announcement.
