The Police Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, announced in a press release on Thursday that recent arrests were made following a widely shared video online.
A woman named Ihsanatu Shaaibu has been taken into custody by the Nigerian authorities for allegedly inflicting serious harm on her stepson, Fa’iza Bala.
Additionally, her husband, who is Fa’iza’s biological father, has also been arrested.
According to ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, the apprehension occurred on January 9, 2025, as a direct response to the viral video. He indicated that the suspects would face prosecution following the completion of the investigation.
