Nigerian Afrobeats musician Davido recently shared how he utilized his first endorsement deal earnings.
In a post on Instagram, he showcased a photo of himself with the documents from his first N20 million deal, which he signed at the young age of 17 after releasing just two songs.
He mentioned that he paid his manager his share and then proceeded to buy a Chevrolet Camaro.
Additionally, he and his cousin B-Red, who is also in the music industry, booked an entire floor at Eko Hotel for a week-long celebration, quickly exhausting the funds.
He expressed:
“1st endorsement deal. MY FIRST 20M NAIRA. I PAY ASA HIM PERCENTAGE. FROM THERE I GO BUY CAMARO. FROM CAMARO NAH EKO HOTEL. ME AND @BREDHKN ONE WHOLE FLOOR ONE WEEK. MONEY FINISH.”
