A troubling video has emerged, featuring Nigerian women who are reportedly detained in a Libyan prison, desperately seeking assistance.
The footage depicts a significant number of women claiming they are confined in this facility.
Some of these women revealed that they have been held in this place for over a year.
The video captures several women holding small children as they appeal to the Nigerian government for aid in securing their release from the detention.
They stated that while individuals from other countries have found ways to escape, they have chosen to adhere to local laws to avoid tarnishing Nigeria’s reputation.
