Nigerian Actress Addresses IVF Stigmas
Mary Remmy Njoku, a well-known actress from Nigeria, has expressed her concerns regarding “religious Nigerian women” who celebrate their new children without revealing that they achieved pregnancy through In-vitro fertilization (IVF).
In an Instagram post, Mary emphasized that IVF should not be viewed negatively. She encouraged women to be honest and include their IVF journey when sharing stories about their newborns.
She believes that testimonies should reflect the truth and advised women utilizing IVF who choose to keep it secret to refrain from sharing their experiences.
