Ex-AMCON Chief Kuru and Associates Granted N20M Bail by Court

On Monday, the Ikeja Special Offences Court approved a bail of N20 million for Ahmed Kuru, the former MD of the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), along with four other individuals involved in the alleged fraud connected to Arik Airline, amounting to N76 billion and $31.5 million.

The co-defendants include Kamilu Omokide, former Receiver Manager of Arik Airline Ltd, Captain Roy Ilegbodu, the airline’s CEO, Union Bank, and Super Bravo Ltd.

Justice Mojisola Dada ruled in favor of the bail, stipulating that each defendant must provide one surety after considering arguments from their legal representatives.
