He highlighted the issue of receiving a casual “seen” as a response after sending money to someone.

 

Kanayo urged his followers to appreciate gestures of kindness, as failure to do so reflects ingratitude.

 

In his message, Kanayo questioned the lack of gratitude prevalent in society:

 

“Why do people display such ingratitude? When you extend a helping hand by sending money to someone, and all you get in return is a brief ‘seen’ text. Is that all? Do you feel entitled to it? This entitled attitude shows ingratitude and an expectation that is uncalled for.”

 

“Remember, unexpressed gratitude is akin to expressing ingratitude. Appreciation is not a given right, so it’s important to acknowledge and thank those who help you.
