Man Arrested for Supplying Food to Bandits in Ekiti State
A 35-year-old man, Musa Abdulai, has been apprehended on suspicions of providing food to bandits in Ekiti State.
As stated by Officer Adeleye Abiodun, Head of Communications for the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, Abdulai, who hails from Sokoto State and lives in Shasha, Akure, was arrested on Monday, October 7, 2024, around 6:30 PM in Ise Ekiti.
During a patrol, Amotekun operatives caught him in the Oritan Forest Reserve while he admitted to supplying food to individuals believed to be Fulani/Bororo bandits hiding in the region.
At the time of his arrest, authorities found food items inside a sack bag he was carrying.
Musa Abdulai has been transferred to the local police station in Ise Ekiti for further examination and investigation.
