Gov Abiodun Reacts As Tinubu Emerges ECOWAS Chairman (via Primetweets)

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his reelection as the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

President Tinubu hosted the ECOWAS heads for the 65th Ordinary Session at the Presidential Villa in Abuja where he was re-elected as the ECOWAS chairman.

Tinubu’s first election to the position was in Guinea-Bissau on July 9, 2023.

Governor Abiodun praised Tinubu’s leadership capabilities and the trust ECOWAS has in him.

Abiodun commended Tinubu’s efforts in promoting economic integration, regional peace, security, and cooperation among member-states.

He also acknowledged Tinubu’s diplomatic handling of military coups in member states which prevented potential crises.

Abiodun emphasized Tinubu’s visionary leadership and strategic approach in addressing challenges in the region, such as threats to democracy and conflicts.

He urged all member-states to collaborate with Tinubu to advance ECOWAS’s objectives and values.
