Ondo State Executive Council Dissolved
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has officially dissolved the State Executive Council, terminating the appointments of all Commissioners and Special Advisers effective immediately.
This decision was revealed in a statement released on Wednesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Adeniyan mentioned that two individuals would remain in their positions due to the essential nature of their roles.
Specifically, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kayode Ajulo, along with the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, are the two members unaffected by this dissolution.
The statement instructed the departing cabinet members to return all government assets to the respective accounting officers of their ministries.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to the council members for their dedication and support in advancing the state’s interests during his administration, wishing them success in their future ventures.
