Police chaplain, Pastor Isa Andrew, from the All Saints Police Protestant Church, Mopol 42 Mobile, was abducted with his 13-year-old daughter, Grace. They are pleading for help to raise the N6 million ransom demanded by their captors.
In a viral video, Pastor Andrew appealed to Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, and other Nigerians to assist in meeting the terrorists’ demands for their release. The kidnappers have set a deadline for the ransom and specified the required motorcycles.
If the demands are not met, they threatened to force his daughter into marriage. Despite previously paying N6 million in ransom, the captors are demanding the same amount again, along with motorcycles, for their release.
Pastor Andrew expressed concern for his daughter’s well-being, as she has suffered mistreatment during their captivity. His health, already compromised by diabetes, is deteriorating with prolonged captivity.
The abductors initially demanded a ransom of N60 million, which was negotiated down to N6 million by his wife. The situation is dire, and immediate action is needed to secure the safe return of the chaplain and his daughter.
