Earlier today, a photo of Funke Akindele supposedly cleaning the streets of Lagos as punishment for violating the lockdown rule surfaced online and has since gone viral.

It has now being discovered that it’s not the actress as her 14 days community service does not involve cleaning the streets.

It was also gathered that the picture has been online since 2018, as it was first shared on twitter by @CleanerLagos

Recall that Funke Akindele and her husband was sentenced to 14-day community service by the Magistrate court in Lagos.

Funke and her husband pleaded guilty and they were ordered to pay a fine of N100,000 each.

The charge against them is made pursuant to the Regulation 8(1a &b) and S 17(1) of the State’s Infectious Disease Regulation 2020.
