Nick Imudia
The housekeeper of the late ex-CEO of Konga, Nick Imudia, has shared details of their final conversation prior to his passing.
As per a close associate who spoke with Vanguard under anonymity, the househelp (name withheld) revealed that before his demise, Imudia had given her a sheet of paper with five contact numbers, including that of his brother in the United States.
“She mentioned that Nick instructed her to keep the numbers for future use. Later, she heard the shower running from the bathroom, indicating he was bathing. After a while, she noticed the shower kept running for a long time. Concerned, she knocked on the bathroom door but got no response and left.
Shortly after, she was alerted by the security guard to check on Nick. She hurried downstairs to find him in a distressing condition. Rushing back upstairs, she found the shower still running. Upon opening the bathroom door, she discovered it empty.” reported the friend of the deceased
Subsequently, the family, as mentioned by the friend of the deceased, requested the release of Imudia’s body for burial.
During the weekend, the family issued a statement dismissing su*cide as the reason behind his demise. They clarified that Nick did not display any signs of stress and was never diagnosed with depression.
The State Criminal Investigative Department, located in Yaba, Lagos, has taken charge of the inquiry surrounding this tragic event.
