Funso Doherty, who ran for governor under the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos State in 2023, has officially joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Confirming his decision in a statement shared on his official social media page, Doherty expressed that the move came after thorough consultations.
He stated, “After thorough consultations, I have left the ADC and become a member of the PDP. With humility and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities ahead, I am eager to collaborate in shaping the Lagos we aspire to build,” in his announcement.
