A group of assailants has kidnapped over 100 individuals in Kebbi state.
During the attack on Tuesday evening, a mother, her infant, and several others were tragically killed.
This unfortunate event took place in Dan Muntari village, located within the Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
Among the deceased was a woman who had welcomed her child just two weeks prior, along with her baby.
The details of this horrific incident were shared on Thursday by security expert Bakatsine via a post on X.
“On Tuesday evening, bandits descended on Dan Muntari village in Danko Wasagu LGA, Kebbi State. Numerous lives were lost, including that of a woman who had recently given birth alongside her newborn. Additionally, more than 100 individuals were taken hostage,” Bakatsine stated.
As of the time this report was prepared, there has been no official statement from the authorities regarding the assault.
