The Ikwerre Local Government Secretariat in Rivers State has been reportedly set on fire by suspected gangs.
A video showing the flames at the building circulated widely on social media on Monday.
This incident comes shortly after parts of the Eleme Local Government Council secretariat in the same state were also engulfed in flames.
The events unfolded just a few days following the Rivers Local Government Elections, where the Action Peoples Party (APP) secured a majority of the positions.
