Man Abducted by Bandits After Paying N2m Ransom for His Wife and Three Children’s Release

Abubakar Ardo, who had gone to pay the ransom of N2 million for the release of his wife, son, and two daughters, has been abducted by bandits after they received the money. The bandits had previously kidnapped the family from Anguwar Janruwa in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State. Audu Bajeko, a relative of the victims, said that the kidnappers demanded an additional N18 million to release the man and his family. This news has caused confusion among the relatives of the victims, as they had already struggled to raise the N2 million. Samaila Babangida, the Madaki of Janjala, expressed his distress at the situation, saying that two days ago, the senior wife of Ardo Fulani was killed after they collected N2 million from the family.
