Adura Aloba, the brother of the deceased Hip Hop artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, commonly known as Mohbad, is calling for an apology from actor Yomi Fabiyi, Damola Ayinde, and others for supposedly hacking into his TikTok account to damage his reputation.
In a statement made in Lagos on Tuesday, Adura indicated he is considering legal action against Fabiyi, Ayinde, and all parties linked to this alleged invasion of his privacy.
Reports reveal that Adura is pursuing a N1 billion lawsuit against Fabiyi due to severe allegations, manipulation of evidence, and fraudulent activities that have wrongfully implicated him.
He expressed, “The hacking of my TikTok account resulted in fraudulent messages, posts, and interactions that were falsely attributed to me without my consent.”
“Yomi Fabiyi published a petition asserting he had been in direct contact with me. However, these alleged communications were fabricated by Damola Ayinde, who exploited my hacked account. Despite clear evidence indicating these acts were orchestrated by Ayinde, Fabiyi continues to publicly defame me.”
“He even approached the Lagos State Police in Ikeja but has failed to retract his statements or apologize. Instead, he continues to malign my character, which is malicious.”
“My main objective is to clear my name and expose the wrongful acts of those intent on damaging my reputation.”
“I also demand that Mr. Yomi Fabiyi halt his defamatory statements, retract his claims, and provide a public apology for the distress he has caused me.”
“I remain committed to seeking justice and fairness, and I value the community’s support as I work to restore my name.”
While advocating for justice regarding his brother Mohbad’s passing, Adura expressed gratitude for the support the family has received during this difficult time, asserting that with the community’s backing, Mohbad’s death will not be in vain.
He cautioned those exploiting his brother’s demise for their gain to cease immediately, reiterating the family’s unwavering commitment to seeking justice for the late Hip Hop artist.
