Debo Adebayo, also known as Mr Macaroni, a well-known social activist and skit creator, has criticized individuals who he believes have abandoned their sense of humanity.
He firmly believes that no amount of money, power, or influence should be valued more than fighting for the freedom of the people.
In a recent post on his social media platform, Mr Macaroni emphasized that some individuals have forsaken their humanity by advocating for violence, hatred, and prejudice.
He stated, “No sum of money, position, or influence should ever justify sacrificing the freedoms of your community.”
Mr Macaroni continued, “Certain individuals have abandoned their humanity by endorsing violence, hatred, and bigotry simply to gain access to meager opportunities. Their ignorance and self-centeredness prevent them from realizing that when united, the entire ‘table’ belongs to all of us.”
It is worth noting that there are ongoing efforts by some Nigerians to organize a nationwide protest scheduled to take place from August 1 to August 10, 2024.
The protest organizers have expressed concerns about widespread poverty and the increasing cost of living in the country.
