Addressing rumors alleging his connection to the deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, Garba asserts his primary focus is on serving all individuals, irrespective of their religious beliefs, ethnicity, or skin color.
“I am a Nigerian first and foremost, committed to serving my fellow Nigerians. Any claims of a family link to Bayero are unfounded. I am dedicated to doing my utmost for Kano,” he states.
Garba assures the public of his dedication to implementing robust security measures within the state.
Addressing journalists at the Bompai Police Headquarters, Garba acknowledges the state’s challenges, notably the resurgence of thuggish activities, and pledges to confront them directly.
The commissioner outlines his strategic plans, encompassing community policing collaborations, cooperation with other security agencies, technological utilization, professionalism, and accountability.
He stresses the importance of collective efforts in addressing security issues and commits to working closely with the government and citizens to foster trust and ensure a safer environment in Kano State.
Garba praises his predecessor, AIG Mohammed Usaini Gumel, for his accomplishments, vowing to build upon his legacy.
