Dele Momodu Calls for President Bola Tinubu to Focus on Development Instead of Second Term
Nigerian journalist and member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dele Momodu, has advised President Bola Tinubu to abandon thoughts of a second term and focus on developmental initiatives.
Momodu expressed concerns about the potential waste of Nigeria’s resources if Tinubu were to pursue reelection.
In a Facebook post, the publisher of Ovation magazine recommended that the President prioritize investing in vocational skills for young people and enhancing the agricultural sector.
He emphasized the importance of improving educational institutions over distributing money to politicians during elections which he deemed counterproductive.
Momodu stressed the significance of performance over political ambitions, urging Tinubu to demonstrate tangible achievements rather than solely seeking reelection.
He outlined suggestions for Tinubu to support the youth in developing vocational skills, boost local agricultural practices, and enhance educational facilities to benefit the nation at large.
