One-Chance Syndicate Busted in Rivers State

Five Arrested in One-Chance Syndicate Bust

The Rivers State Police have detained five individuals believed to be part of a notorious one-chance scam group.

On January 28, while patrolling NLNG Road on the Eastern Bypass in Port Harcourt, officers from the Hyper City Unit were alerted by a female victim from the Federal Housing Estate, Trans-Amadi. She reported that her mobile phone had been taken by individuals inside a green Volkswagen Vento, with the registration number ANAMBRA FGG 40 AA.

Responding quickly, the police team was able to locate and stop the vehicle, leading to the arrest of the five suspects: Ifeanyi Ugo (45), Paulina Ibe (45), Nneka Precious Sunday (30), Christopher Ibe (31), and Oyinyechi Ibe (48).

Investigations are currently underway, with the suspects and the vehicle now secured at the police station.
