Prior to departing the area, the Ooni and Buhari reportedly visited the Emir’s Palace in Daura.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, met with former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State on Wednesday, November 11.
Ahmad Bashir, a former media aide to Buhari, shared images of the visit on X.com.
During the trip, the Ooni, together with Buhari, also toured the Emir’s Palace before leaving the town.
Bashir captioned his post: “Today, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II), visited former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura with his entourage.”
“Before their departure, the former president guided the Ooni and his team to the historic Daura Emir’s Palace.”
