Pastor Abducted by Gunmen on His Farm in Ondo

Reports indicate that a pastor named Anthony Ebele was abducted by gunmen on his Ogbese Farm on Yakubu Road, near Benin Camp in Akure North local government area on Saturday evening, June 29.

The family of the pastor has been contacted by the kidnappers who are requesting ransom for his release. The exact amount demanded has not been disclosed, and the matter has been reported to the police.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Funmi Odunlami, verified the abduction and mentioned that police detectives have initiated investigations into the case.
“On the 29th of June around 10 pm, Mr. Ogunjobi Adeyemi reported at the station that his brother, who went to the farm, had not returned home. The complainant was expected to meet with the police this morning to help trace the victim at the farm but did not show up.”
