Renowned Nigerian actor Patrick Doyle has expressed his concerns regarding the attire worn by Afrobeats sensation Davido during his recent visit to the Olu of Warri’s palace.
On October 5, Davido was in Warri for a show and took the time to meet with the king prior to his performance.
Images from the meeting surfaced online, showcasing the artist in a casual t-shirt and shorts while at the palace.
Doyle, who hails from the Itsekiri community, questioned the appropriateness of Davido’s casual attire for such an important visit.
‘’Is this suitable attire for visiting the palace of a monarch like the Olu of Warri?” he posted on social media.
