The Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Musa Ashom, is appealing for blood donors in Plateau following the collapse of a school building in Jos. The Plateau State Government is calling on residents to donate blood at Plateau Specialists Hospital to help save lives.

Mr. Ashom emphasized the urgent need for blood donors for the pupils rescued from the collapsed building. The call for donations is being broadcasted on state-owned radio and television stations, urging all able-bodied individuals to step forward.

In a statement, the commissioner highlighted the critical situation, stating, “The Commissioner appeals to the public’s sense of humanity to donate blood at various hospitals in the city to support the victims of the school building collapse in the Busa Buji area of Jos North Local Government Area.”
