There had been series of drama revolving around marriage in the Nollywood which has continued to make Nigerians concern.
There is a popular saying or rather songs Nigerians ‘sing’ concerning the Nigerian movie industry.

‘To enjoy your marriage, never let your partner become a nollywood actor or actress.
There are some Nollywood stars who don’t show their partners to the world except on special occasions.
Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola is a very good example of this.
The handsome actor who has always been favourite of many viewers rarely flaunts his wife on social media. Odunlade only shows his wife to the world on special occasions.
Going through the actor’s social media handles, it has been noted that he only shows his wife, Ruth Adekola on her birthday, his birthday and some other festive periods.
Following this, some have come to the conclusion that the actor is hiding his wife from claws of Nollywood while others claimed he is only protecting himself from being a victim of ‘marriage’ circumstances in the movie industry.

Described as a walking meme, Adekola has managed to warm his way into the hearts of many Nigerians with his hilarious acting skills.
However, not so many people know a lot about his personal life. In a recent interview with City People, he opened up about his marriage to his wife, Ruth Adekola and how they’ve managed to remain together.
Adekola had this to say:
“I can’t really say much about that because we have different background and home training and also in the industry, so I will still say it is the power of God because nobody is perfect and we all have our shortcomings and there is no perfect marriage anywhere, so we only work extra to make everything perfect. Every marriage definitely has its own ups and downs, so it is understanding and patients that make everything work. Nobody has supernatural power.”
