President Tinubu Embarks on Private Journey to France Before AU Summit in Addis Ababa

On Wednesday, February 5, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will leave Abuja for a private trip to Paris, France, before heading to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

This information was shared in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

The statement noted, “In Addis Ababa, President Tinubu will participate in the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the AU Heads of State Assembly, scheduled for February 12-16, 2025.

“He is set to arrive in Addis Ababa early next week for the African Union summit.

“During his time in France, President Tinubu will also hold discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron.”
