President Tinubu Leads Security Council Meeting at Presidential Villa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently chairing a Security Council meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja amidst nationwide protests against hunger in the country.

The meeting aims to provide updates to President Tinubu from the service chiefs and the Inspector General of Police regarding the security landscape in the nation.

The session commenced at 2:00 pm and includes key officials like the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, the National Security Adviser, all Service Chiefs, the Inspector General of Police, the Comptroller Generals of Custom and Immigration, and the President’s Chief of Staff.

Earlier, the Federal Executive Council meeting slated to occur at the Presidential Villa was unexpectedly called off.

This important gathering was planned for the Council Chamber after President Bola Tinubu’s recent national address on Sunday in response to the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.
