The upcoming state visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to China will include a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing in early September.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesman, revealed this information.
Although the exact departure date for the President’s trip to Beijing has not been specified, Ngelale mentioned that President Tinubu will participate in a series of meetings with President Xi Jinping and ten CEOs of major corporations to enhance Nigeria’s economy.
The discussions will encompass bilateral agreements, the signing of Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs), and agreements focusing on various sectors such as the green economy, blue economic development, and national planning cooperation.
Furthermore, the talks will also address national, regional, and international security matters, as well as the completion of the Abuja to Ibadan segment of the Lagos-Kaduna standard railway.
Moreover, President Tinubu will delve into topics related to information technology, refining, oil and gas, and satellite technology during his visit.
