Bandits Abduct 22 Persons In Kaduna Fresh Attack (via Primetweets)
The peaceful night in Mani village, Rido ward in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State was abruptly shattered by suspected bandits who staged a daring attack in the early hours of Thursday morning. The assailants, numbering many, engaged in a violent spree, abducting 22 individuals, including a nursing mother with four young children.

Though the authorities in Kaduna State are yet to officially acknowledge the event, local sources report that the bandits, under the cover of darkness, infiltrated the community while its inhabitants were fast asleep. They initiated their assault by firing weapons and then proceeded to seize unsuspecting victims from their homes.

Furthermore, in a separate incident, the bandits targeted Dan Honu II, New Millennium City, also situated within Chikun Local Government, where they kidnapped a nurse and her three sons.

This incident marks another troubling episode, following a similar occurrence two months prior, when two journalists were taken captive by bandits from the same vicinity and only released after a week in captivity.

Despite the rising frequency of these attacks, security agencies have yet to provide a substantial response. Reports from local residents indicate that the bandits struck Dan Honu II community around 10 pm the previous night, creating chaos with gunfire before abducting several individuals, including a woman and her sons.

While the woman was left behind in the wilderness due to deteriorating health, her three children were taken away by the criminals.
