Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has urged the Lagos State government to arrange transportation for non-indigenes living in the state to return to their home states for protests.
This call comes in light of the upcoming nationwide protest scheduled for August 1 to address issues of poor governance and economic challenges.
In a social media post, Reno questioned the logic of individuals from Abia state, where workers allegedly go unpaid, opting to protest in Lagos, a state known for its timely payments to civil servants and pensioners.
He also raised concerns about the violence that occurred during the EndSARS protest in Lagos in October 2020, attributing it to non-indigenes, and urged the government to prevent a recurrence.
