VeryDarkMan Backs Seyi Tinubu for Lagos Governorship
Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has announced his support for Seyi Tinubu if he pursues the governorship position in Lagos State.
Although Seyi and his father have not commented on any potential candidacy, various groups have already shown their support for Seyi’s campaign.
In an Instagram video, VeryDarkMan expressed that his backing for Seyi aims to inspire a new generation of leaders in Nigeria.
At 39, Seyi will be 42 by 2027, potentially making him the youngest governor in Lagos’ history.
“If Seyi Tinubu decides to run for governorship…I’ll actively support him. Politics isn’t my thing, but I’ll get involved for Seyi Tinubu,” VeryDarkMan remarked.
He believes Seyi represents a means to an end that could help improve Nigeria’s future.
VeryDarkMan pointed out that Seyi adopts a political strategy similar to his father’s, involving the early placement of supporters in key roles.
He suggested that Seyi likely has committed supporters already in prominent positions, positing that they may be younger individuals who are easier to manage.
With Seyi as governor, VeryDarkMan forecasts he might help his loyalists ascend to higher political roles across various states.
He also mentioned that this could lead to a situation where younger individuals might challenge Seyi, resulting in positive changes for the country.
