Chidi Sunday, an On-Air-Personality, shares his miraculous story of overcoming a life-threatening illness earlier this year.
During his time in the hospital, he battled a severe lung infection that required him to be on oxygen for months. Even the medical professionals attending to him had lost hope for his recovery at one point.
Despite witnessing numerous deaths around him while in the hospital, Chidi held onto his unwavering faith in God.
One day, against all odds, his doctor recommended removing his oxygen mask, a decision that ultimately led to his survival.
Chidi narrates his journey of struggle, faith, and divine intervention:
”My life serves as a testament to the existence of a merciful and living God. On April 12th, I was admitted to the hospital with a severe lung infection, and the prognosis was grim. The doctors insisted on oxygen support for me to survive. Three weeks into treatment, my health deteriorated rapidly, and I was on the brink of death. I overheard the doctors discussing giving up on my case, relying solely on a miracle. It was then that I realized I had to fight for my life. I was bedridden, unable to talk or walk, and spent sleepless nights monitoring my oxygen levels to ensure I didn’t run out. The financial burden of purchasing oxygen and medication was overwhelming. However, a divine prompting led me to share my story on Facebook and seek help from specific individuals.”
”The response was overwhelming, with people generously contributing towards my medical expenses. Despite the discouraging environment of the hospital ward filled with frequent deaths, I persisted in my declaration that I would survive. The news of my imminent discharge from the hospital against all expectations brought joy and disbelief to all who knew my situation. Removing the oxygen mask, which previously meant imminent death, proved that my recovery was nothing short of a miracle. My journey to full recovery, which was expected to be lengthy, has been remarkably swift, showcasing God’s faithfulness.”
Chidi, now 29, has shared new photos illustrating his remarkable recovery and the transformative power of faith.
