Teacher Arrested for Abuse in Classroom

 

Mrs. Stella Nwadigo, a teacher filmed mistreating a 3-year-old named Abayomi Michael, has been taken into custody following widespread public outcry.

 

The incident occurred at Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu, where the teacher was seen slapping and shouting at the young boy as he struggled to write the number “6.”

 

This troubling behavior prompted immediate action from the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA).

 

Official Statement from Lagos DSVA

 

“We thank everyone who alerted us about the concerning video of a teacher mistreating a 3-year-old child.

“We are glad to announce that the teacher has been arrested by Owutu FSU, and an investigation is underway. Schools must be secure and nurturing places for all children.”

“The State Government is dedicated to ensuring each child’s safety and welfare by implementing strict policies, holding wrongdoers accountable, and collaborating with partners to foster a zero-tolerance stance against any form of abuse.”
